For team members to be effective in their results, it is vital to recognize and acknowledge themselves in each situation, "as they" move towards the goal.
Here are the lessons learned from a canoeing team, where a member lost the paddle, but continued to make the move until he reached the finish line:
1- The decisions and emotions we are have repercussions for the whole team.
2- Don't jump out of the boat, you are important for all of us to stay afloat.
3- The greatest resource is not your resource (oar), but your attitude in the face of adversity.
4- We all reach the goal, only if we are willing to travel the journey together.
5- Recognize and redefine individual weakness as a collective strength, in order to achieve objectives.
6- Managing emotions in the face of a difficulty is the platform to manage the result in the face of adversity.
7- We can be part of the team, accompanying and learning even without what we consider "essential".
A team is not a group of people doing something; it is people who believe in what they do and that transforms them into a team.
At RA Consultores we can help you!
